Oversight
Oversight for Living Word Uganda is provided by a board of 5 directors. All have a tremendous passion and proven track record for the faithful teaching and preaching of God’s word to students.
The Board of Directors
Deputy Principal, Mbarara Bible Institute. Milton is married to Anne; and they have two children. He trained
at Wheaton Theological College USA, the Cornhill Training Course in the UK and at Uganda Christian University
for Ministerial Formation. He has extensive experience working amongst students since 1995. He served with
FOCUS (the Ugandan equivalent of UK’s UCCF) for 12 years and served as Dean of Students at Uganda Christian
University one of Uganda’s largest universities. He is currently lecturing at Uganda Bible Institute, Mbarara.

Rodgers is a graduate of Uganda Christian University where he completed a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Management after acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies with Education from African Bible University. Rodgers is married to Prossie and they have a son and two foster daughters.

Samwel previously worked with Pricewaterhouse Coopers for 10 years. He studied business management from Egerton University in Kenya, and MSc. in Finance from University of London. He currently runs his own consulting firm assisting non-profit organisations in maximizing social returns through effective financial and programme management. Samwel is married to Tabitha and they have two children.

Barbara works full time as a pharmacist. She studied a Bachelor of Theology at Kampala Evangelical School of Theology Christian Leaders Major. She has been involved with Langham Preaching since 2012 as a Bible teacher/trainer. She served as the students’ representative on the National Executive Council for the Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS) Uganda. Barbara has been involved with student work and Bible training for over 10 years. She has a passion for ministry particularly small group bible study and missions. Barbara is married to Paul Majoli.

Dennis is the senior Pastor at Lugogo Baptist Church and lecturer at African Renewal University. He currently also
serves as the University Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development and Partnerships). He has a passion to mobilize the
local church in Uganda to engage in missions. Dennis is married to Yvonne Kilama and they have two sons.
