Oversight for Living Word Uganda is provided by a board of 4 directors.

All have a tremendous passion and proven track record for the faithful teaching and preaching of God's word to students. Thyey oversee the staff team and the programmes.

Sam Opolot

Sam Opolot

Sam is married to Alice; they have two children.

He has 12 years of experience working for FOCUS, including conference organization. During this time he received training at the Kampala Evangelical School of Theology and by Langham Preaching. Until September 2012 he was acting Director of FOCUS.

Sam pioneered the work of Living Word Uganda as conference organiser before taking up the responsibility of team leader. He now chairs the board of directors of Living Word Uganda.

Sam is the team leader at Global Link Afrika - an initiative to raise, support and send missionaries from Uganda..

Rev. Milton Tweheyo

Rev. Milton Tweheyo

Milton is married to Anne; and they have two children.

He trained at Wheaton Theological College USA, the Cornhill Training Course in the UK and at Uganda Christian University for Ministerial Formation.

He has extensive experience working amongst students since 1995. He served with FOCUS (the Ugandan equivalent of UK’s UCCF) for 12 years and served as Dean of Students at Uganda Christian University one of Uganda’s largest universities.

He is currently lecturing at Uganda Bible Institute, Mbarara.

Rev. Rodgers Atwebembeire

Rev. Rodgers Atwebembeire

Rodgers is a Pastor at New City Community Church a Reformed Presbyterian congregation in Kololo, Kampala.

He is also the East Africa Coordinator of Africa Center for Apologetics and Research (ACFAR) where he has worked for the last seven years. This is a ministry whose mission is to equip God's people across borders and cultures for discernment, the defense of the Christian faith against cult evangelism.

Rodgers is a graduate of Uganda Christian University where he completed a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Management after acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies with Education from African Bible University.

Rodgers is married to Prossie and they have a son and two foster daughters.
